Good Morning from Taipei,
Apple has plenty of naysayers right now, and this week’s iPhone launch didn’t help Cupertino’s cause.
But the data is pretty stark. Sure, the smartphone market isn’t growing as much as it used to — though at least growth has returned — yet Apple is streaks ahead of Samsung, Xiaomi and the rest when it comes to the only market-share metric that really matters: revenue.
That’s gotta be worth something. (A $3.3 trillion market cap?)
How about a 3rd chart on income/profit (spoiler: Apple would still be the high bar)? I would argue that metric that matters most.
